When you make your first appointment with our dentist in Glasgow, you will need to register some additional details so that we have everything we ned to ensure we can treat you efficiently and appropriately, no matter what you might need. Your first appointment will include a full 'Smile Assessment', where one of our friendly and helpful team will take you through a questionnaire about your lifestyle, hobbies and diet, as well as any previous dental work or medical history that we might need to know about.

Your dentist will then carry a full assessment of your teeth and gums, to make sure your mouth is healthy and there are no signs of any potential problems. They will also conduct an oral cancer screening, which looks specifically for early warning signs of possible symptoms.

You will be kept fully informed of your dentist's findings at all times, and will have the opportunity to ask questions about anything you didn't understand, or to discuss your oral health if necessary. Should your dentist find anything that requires further treatment, they will fully explain any treatment options and associated costs, before helping you decide on a course of action.
